Nagwa (Madame Shalata) (1986) - (Sherihan) Egyptian one-sheet
This is a poster designed by Hassan Mazhar Gasour for the 1986 Yehia El Alami color film Madame Shalata starring Sherihan based on a story by Wahid Ghazi with screenplay and dialogue by Ahmed Saleh and cinematography by Ali Khair Allah. Plot summary: Nagwa came to Cairo from Tanta to enroll in the College of Information and live with her married sister. She got into a relationship with someone named Monir, who refused to marry her after tricking her. Shalata was seduced by the husband of Monir's mother, who had acquired enormous wealth by questionable means, and he married her. However he soon divorced Nagwa to marry Wedad, who had agreed to help Monir get revenge against Nagwa. Then Nagwa started working for a pimp named Om Salem. The ethics police raided the apartment and arrested all of them. Then Nagwa found herself under police interrogation.
