The Bermuda Triangle (1979) - (Charles Berlitz) US one-sheet
This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet for the 1979 Richard Friedenberg film The Bermuda Triangle based on the book by Charles Berlitz, screenplay by Stephen Lord and narrated by Brad Crandall. Plot summary: This documentary dramatizes and describess the sometimes legendary and sometimes factual history of the ocean area within a triangle formed by Bermuda, Miami and San Juan Puerto Rico known as the Bermuda Triangle, beginning with the recorded experiences of Christopher Columbus off the coast of Bimini in 1492. Events have included disappearing ships, ghost ships, disappearing aircraft, airmen and sailors, magnetic storms, unexplained disruptions of flight navigation instruments and UFOs, believed possibly due to the effects of "blue holes" on the ocean floor, waterspouts, underwater earthquakes, time warps that transport aircraft into another dimension, or perhaps even the residual powers of the lost continent of Atlantis, thought by Plato and Edgar Cayce to have been located in this area.
