This is a 33" x 44.5" stone litho Egyptian film poster designed by Hassan Mazhar Gasour to promote the 1955 El Sayed Ziada film Show Me the Way People [dillouni ya nass] based on a story by El-Sayed Ziada with cinematography by Bruno Salvi and starring Doria Ahmed as Nahed. Plot summary: Nahed was the daughter of a rich woman renowned for her cruelty. When she fell in love with Hassan [Shukry Sarhan] her mother forbade them to marry and then found the two of them together in a public place. When Nahed fled the scene to avoid her mother she fell into a coma and woke up with amnesia. Lost and confused, she fell prey to an evil magician [Mahmoud El-Meliguy] who bewitched her and employed her as a singer. He contrived to keep her with him and deceive all the people who were looking for her.
