This is a 14" x 36" US insert poster for the 1956 Gene Kelly film Invitation to the Dance directed by Gene Kelly, screenplay by Gene Kelly and starring Gene Kelly, Tamara Toumanova and Igor Youskevitch in three mime and dance vignettes entitled "Clown," "Ring Around the Rosy" and "Sinbad the Sailor." The music is composed by Andre Previn, Jacques Ibert, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and Conrad Salinger.
