This is a 23" x 33" German poster for a 1997 rerelease of the 1989 Ron Clements and John Musker film The Little Mermaid based on a Danish fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, screenplay by Ron Clements and John Musker and starring Jodi Benson as the voice of Ariel. Plot summary: The film tells the story of how Ariel, a mermaid princess, gets herself changed to a human by her father, King Triton [Kenneth Mars] (the ruler of Atlantica) and marries her human sweetheart Eric [Christopher Daniel Barnes].
