Plot summary: Widow Laura Breckenridge [Angie Dickinson] persuades Sam Whiskey to retrieve $250,000 in gold bars from the bottom of the Platte River, where it has been submerged as part of the cargo of a sunken riverboat. Breckenridge's late husband stole the gold from the Denver Mint and she wants Sam to return it before the theft is discovered, so she can protect her family's name.

This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet two-moon advance poster designed by Tom Jung for the 1984 David Lynch film Dune based on the 1965 Frank Herbert novel of the same title, screenplay by David Lynch and starring Kyle MacLachlan as Paul Atreides, the prophetic dreamer. Plot summary: Thousands of years into the future, the most essential and valuable known commodity is called melange, or "the spice," which can extend life and expand consciousness. Its most valuable property is its ability to assist with the folding of space, which allows safe and instantaneous interstellar travel. The sole source of this precious substance is Planet Arrakis (AKA "Dune"). The emperor of the universe, Padishah Shaddam IV, [Jose Ferrer] plans to turn over control of the Planet Arrakis to the House of Atreides and then have them ambushed by the Harkonnens under the leadership of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen on the industrial world of Giedi Prime. The emperor suspects Duke Leto Atreides [Jurgen Prochnow] of forming a secret army which will be a threat to him. To evade the emperor's plot the Atreides leave their home in Calada and go to Arrakis.

Plot Summary: Commander Draper is forced to land on Mars in an escape pod due to a fuel emergency on his mother ship; he loses the other member of his crew, Colonel Dan McReady, [Adam West] who is killed when his escape pod crashes. His only remaining companion is Mona, a flight-test monkey who has survived the crash in McReady's pod. He later rescues a slave [Victor Lundin] being held on an alien spacecraft; he names his new companion Friday and begins teaching him English. In return, Friday shares his supply of oxygen pills with Kit.

This is a 29" x 43" Argentine one-sheet poster derived directly from the design of the US one-sheet for the 1948 D. Ross Lederman film The Return of the Whistler based on a story by Cornell Woolrich, screenplay by Edward Bock and Maurice Tombragel and starring Michael Duane as Theodore Anthony Nichols. This was the eighth and final in the "Whistler" series of films produced by Columbia Pictures based on the popular radio serial of the same title; it was the only one in the series in which Richard Dix was not the star. Plot Summary: Ted Nichols has mechanical problems with his car late at night while driving through a small town with his fiance Alice [Lenore Aubert]. Not wishing to sleep with Alice before they are married, Ted leaves her at a hotel while he goes to the next town for repairs. When he returns the next day Alice is missing; he soon learns she has been kidnapped.

This is a 27" x 39" Spanish poster by an unknown designer for a 1965 rerelease of the 1948 Howard Hawks and Arthur Rosson film Red River based on the 1946 Borden Chase Saturday Evening Post serial "Blazing Guns on the Chisholm Trail," screenplay by Borden Chase and Charles Schnee and starring John Wayne as Thomas Dunson. Plot summary: Thomas Dunson is a cattle rancher who starts a ranch in Texas and leads a cattle drive to Abilene which is the first use of what eventually becomes known as the Chisholm Trail. The story is punctuated by trouble with indians, territorial disputes, gunfights and conflicts over women.

Plot summary: Billy Buck helps Tom Tiflin [Peter Miles] raise and train a pony he has received as a gift from his father [Sheppert Strudwick]. When the pony gets out of the stable and dies Tom blames Billy; Billy feels remorse and decides to make amends by giving Tom another colt.
