Sins of Madeleine (1947) - (Hedy Lamarr) US lobby card
This is an 11" x 14" undated rerelease US lobby card for the 1947 Robert Stevenson film Sins of Madeleine AKA Dishonored Lady based on the 1930 play Dishonored Lady by Edward Sheldon and Margaret Ayer, screenplay by Edmund H. North and starring Hedy Lamarr as Madeleine Damien. Plot summary: Madeleine Damien is a fashion editor at a slick Manhattan magazine called Boulevard. The pressures of work cause her to attempt suicide, after which she seeks the help of a psychiatrist. On his advice she quits her job, moves into a smaller flat, adopts a new identity, takes up new interests and acquires new friends.
