This is a 27" x 39" Spanish poster for the 1977 Ingmar Bergman film The Serpent's Egg AKA Das Schlangenei written by Ingmar Bergman and starring Liv Ullman as Manuela Rosenberg. Plot summary: In the wake of World War I in Germany Abel Rosenberg [David Carradine] is living in poverty in the city of Berlin with his sister Manuela, a prostitute. Abel takes a job with Professor Hans Vergerus [Heinz Bennent] a week after his brother Max has committed suicide, and moves into Professor Vergerus's apartment. He is drawn into a privately-funded clinical organization engaged in sadistic experimentation testing the limits of human endurance in a variety of psychological and physical ways.
