Magnificent Beast (1953) - (Miroslava) Egyptian one-sheet
This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Abdou Mohamed and Wahib Fahmy for the 1953 Chano Ureta film The Magnificent Beast AKA La Bestia Magnifica AKA Lucha Libre based on a story by Neftali Beltran, adaptation by Chano Ureta and starring Miroslava as Meche. This Mexican film was the first of what is called the Luchadores genre. Plot summary: Two good friends become fighters so they can get out of poverty, but their destiny changes when an ambitious woman comes into their lives.
