This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian rerelease poster designed by Magdi William using an element from Frank Frazetta's 1971 painting Conan the Destroyer for the 1967 Ferdinando Baldi film Massacre in the Black Forest AKA Hermann der Cherusker - Die Schlacht im Teutoburger Wald based on a screenplay by Ferdinando Baldi, Adriano Bolzoni and Alessandro Ferrau and starring Cameron Mitchell as Consul Aulus Sessina. Plot summary: In 9 AD in ancient Germania Arminius the Terrible [Hans von Borsody] leads the Teutonic tribes in a vicious rebellion against the Roman Empire.
