This is a 28.5" x 40" Japanese English poster for the 1974 Jun Fukuda film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla AKA Gojira tai Mekagojira based on a story by Masami Fukushima and Shin'ichi Sekizawa, screenplay by Jun Fukuda and Hiroyasu Yamamura and starring Masaaki Daimon as Keisuke Shimizu. Plot summary: A group of aliens who want to take over the planet realize this will not be possible without defeating Godzilla, so they build a huge robot that is more powerful than Godzilla; the clash between the robot Mechagodzilla and Godzilla becomes the centerpiece of the story.
