Ed and Susan Poole of LAMP, Film Accessory Researchers

Ed and Susan Poole of learnaboutmovieposters.com were at this year's Cinevent promoting their research activity and advising the industry about the many aspects of their extensive activities. They joined forces to give a pre-auction PowerPoint presentation describing how their work has evolved, giving a few details about problems and surprises they have encountered over the years; they stressed the importance of collectors as curators and archivists in the preservation of our fragile and vanishing film heritage, since the public institutions that have taken on this work often lack the funding and staff to do the job properly.
