This is a 14" x 28" Italian locandina poster for a 1982 rerelease of the of the 1972 film A Clockwork Orange written and directed by Stanley Kubrick, based on the 1962 Anthony Burgess novel of the same title and starring Malcolm McDowell as Alex DeLarge. Plot summary: In a dystopian future London psycophathic gangleader Alex DeLarge leads his thugs on a vicious crime spree. When captured and convicted Alex undergoes aversion therapy and is then released. The film explores the question of whether "goodness" resides within or is acquired from the outside.

Lancelot and Guinevere (1963) - (Cornel Wilde) US one-sheet

This is is a US 27" x 41" one-sheet poster for the 1963 Cornel Wilde film Lancelot and Guinevere AKA Sword of Lancelot (USA) written by Richard Schayer and Cornel Wilde and starring Cornel Wilde as Sir Lancelot. Plot summary: This is Cornel Wilde's version of the Camelot legend. When Sir Lancelot and Guinevere [Jean Wallace] fall in love it upsets King Arthur, who has married Guinevere; Lancelot is no longer the most valued knight at the Round Table. After Lancelot and Guinevere have a tryst in Guinevere's palace chamber, while leaving Lancelot fights off a contingent of soldiers the king has sent to kill him and the next day Guinevere finds herself tied to a stake to be burned. Lancelot spirits her away at the last minute and then surrenders to the mercy of the king. However, his plan changes.
