This is a 26.5" x 38" Egyptian poster by an unknown designer made to promote the 2006 Sherif Arafa film Halim written by Mahfouz Abdel Rahman and starring Ahmed Zaki as Abdel Halim Hafez. Wikipedia: Halim is a 2006 Egyptian film about the Egyptian singer Abdel Halim Hafez. Production had started in 2004 with Ahmed Zaki in the title role, but the actor died prior to the film's completion, so his son (Haitham Ahmed Zaki) filled in several scenes. The film was released in July 2006 with Mona Zaki, Solaf Fawakhergi, directed by Sherif Arafa, written by Mahfouz Abd El-Rahman and produced by Good News 4 Film & Music Company.

Plot summary: Thomas Vlassenroot is a divorced citizen of Luxembourg who has enlisted in the French Foreign Legion. During the 1961 Algerian uprising he deserts then teams up with Lieutenant Fraser [Georges Geret], a former comrade in the Legion who is also a deserter now working for the OAS, a group resisting the Algerian independence movement. The two kidnap Dominique Servet [Lea Massari], an attorney defending Algerian nationalists. Thomas falls in love with Dominique and helps her escape to France. He later has another encounter with Dominique in France, then makes his way back to Luxembourg.

Plot summary: Director Eric Hartman shoots a horror film on location at a house where seven murders were committed; he has his cast reenact occult rituals that took place there. This summons a deadly force from a nearby cemetery leading to the step-by-step elimination of members of the film crew. The lines are sometimes temporarily blurred between the scenes of horror being reenacted and the horror triggered by the reenactments; this reduces the horror impact, but the story remains coherent and interesting.

Plot summary: In the town of Dead Falls Rancher Blaze Barker, an honest man and a real Saturday afternoon silver screen cowboy, is beset by the ruthless outlaws of the old West. In the valley where he lives a dam is about to be constructed, and a criminal gang is out to take control of all the land there before construction begins using a taxation and foreclosure scheme. The gang frames Blaze. They falsely testify against him in a robbery trial and he is put in state prison for two years. After his release on parole he must raise money to pay his property taxes by selling cattle, but when he does so he finds the money has been marked, again to frame him. Fortunately Blaze has the help and support of US Marshal Fargo Steele [Tex Ritter], who has been assigned as his parole officer. Robert Mitchum, credited as Bob Mitchum, appears here as Ben Slocum, saloon owner and one of the outlaw ringleaders. Tex Ritter and the Jimmy Wakely Trio highlight the story with the right kinds of cowboy songs, whistling and yodeling.

Plot summary: A simple country girl named Saadia lived on a farm with her wealthy uncle Ali [Hussein Riad] without realizing she was the daughter of a wealthy man from a secret marriage. The wealthy man left his great wealth to his daughter and died. She went to Cairo to receive her inheritance. Her uncle's wife Bahiga [Zuzu Madi] plotted with her lover Zaki [Abdel Salam Al Nabulsy] to confiscate the girl's money with the help of her mother's brother, a poor photographer named Hussein [Kamal Al-Shennawy]. However the heiress gradually fell in love with her uncle Hussein, who revealed the details about a fraudulent court case they were trying to build against her, causing it to fail. The girl went back to the farm and distributed her inheritance among the peasants working there, then married her uncle after realizing he was a good man even if he was poor.

This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Wahib Fahmy to promote a 1950s rerelease of the 1954 Richard Fleischer film Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea based on the 1870 novel of the same title by Jules Verne, screenplay by Earl Felton and starring James Mason as Captain Nemo. The poster is not dated, but it was printed between 1958-1971 during the years of Gamal Abdel Nasser's United Arab Republic. Plot summary: In 1868 world shipping lanes are disrupted by rumors of a giant sea monster attacking ships and the sea is no longer considered safe. The US government commissions an expedition to establish the truth about the rumored monster, which turns out to be real but something nobody expects. The film won three academy awards for Best Art Direction [John Meehan, Emile Kuri], Best Special Effects [John Hench, Joshua Meador] and Best Film Editing [Elmo Williams].

This is a 27" x 39" undated rerelease Egyptian poster designed by Walid Wahib for the 1955 Henry Barakat musical Days and Nights based on a story by Henry Barakat and Youssef Gohar, screenplay by Henry Barakat, cinematography by Wahid Farid, music by Mohamed Abdel Wahab and starring 26-year-old Abdel Halim Hafez (1929-1977) as Yehia. Plot summary: A wealthy man married a woman who had divorced an irresponsible alcoholic painter [Mahmoud El-Meliguy]. The wealthy man educated her two sons, one of whom was from another husband, and the boys grew up together like twins. Yehia, the son of the painter, loved Samia [Imane] but his brother made trouble for him and Samia turned away from him. They quarreled at a party when he was quite drunk and then he got in his car and killed a pedestrian. At his trial he confessed the truth. This caused tension in the family but when he returned to his father the painter, the father took responsibility for the first time; he had a reconciliation with his wife and his son when he saw the love between mother and son and the son's confession of the truth. The film includes the hit song Toba [Never Again]: Lyrics and translation

This is an Italian Eurospy film that relies less on plot than a series of loosely connected sequences using bizarre gadgetry, ludicrous characters and beautiful women: the winning elements they borrowed from James Bond. Plot summary: In France, the police have found three bodies, each with an eyeball removed. Agent Z.3, who has lost one of his own eyes while still alive, has a glass eyeball implanted in his dead eyesocket. Without the agent's knowledge, the glass eye has been fitted with a tiny camera that transmits what Lancaster sees to the Russians. The Russians are interested in Paula Krauss, [Pier Angeli] the daughter of a nuclear scientist who has recently died.
