Star Pilot (1966) - (Leonora Ruffo) Egyptian one-sheet
This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Fathy al-Khodri for the 1966 Pietro Francisci film Star Pilot AKA 2+5: Missione Hydra based on a story by Pietro Francisci and Fernando Paolo Girolami and starring Leonora Ruffo as Kaena, captain of the alien spaceship from Hydra. With some of its terminology and wardrobe innovations, this film was a precursor to the Star Trek television series. Plot summary: A spaceship from the constellation Hydra crashes on the Island of Sardinia. The aliens on the craft abduct an earth scientist, his daughter, a few technicians and a pair of spies from the Orient for use repairing their damaged ship. After the repairs are done the aliens take their captives with them as they head back to their home planet. The earthlings create a major disruption when they mutiny against their abductors.
