This is a 13" x 28" Italian locandina poster for the 1987 Percy Adlon film Bagdad Cafe AKA Out of Rosenheim loosely based on Carson McCullers's 1951 novella The Ballad of the Sad Cafe with screenplay by Eleonore and Percy Adlon and starring Jack Palance as Rudi Cox. Plot summary: Jasmin Münchgstettner [Marianne Sägebrecht] has just had a fight with her husband [Hans Stadlbauer] during a drive across a desert; she gets out of his car in anger at a truck stop (the Bagdad Cafe) where she takes a room and gradually makes a place for herself in the hearts of a group of troubled strangers.

Monsieur Cognac becomes jealous when Giselle marries Terry Williams, [Tony Curtis] an American musician; this causes marital problems.
