This is a 27.5" x 39.25" Premiere International video poster for a 1985 rerelease of the 1973 Lamar Card and Paul Hunt film The Clones based on a story by Paul Hunt and Lamar Card, screenplay by Steve Fisher and starring Michael Greene as Dr. Gerald Appleby. According to its producers, this cult classic introduced the word "clone" (from the Greek klon "twig") to the American lexicon. Plot summary: Gerald Appleby is a nuclear scientist who has been cloned by foreign agents. After he learns he's been cloned and that his clone has stolen his identity, his car and his girl, Appleby must prove he is himself and not his clone.
