This is a 13" x 27.5" Italian locandina for the 1976 Sergio Sollima film The Black Corsair AKA The Black Pirate AKA Il Corsaro Nero based on the two Emilio Salgari novels The Black Corsair and The Queen of the Caribbean and also the Italian TV series Sandokan, screenplay by Alberto Silvestri and Sergio Sollima and starring Kabir Bedi as Emilio di Roccabruna Count of Ventimiglia, The Black Corsair. Plot summary: In the early 19th Century the Black Corsair seeks revenge against the Caribbean Island of Maracaibo Governor Van Gould [Mel Ferrer] for the murder of his two brothers.

Pictured is a 29" x 43" Argentine one-sheet using art by Dan Gouzee and Renato Cesaro to promote the 1983 John Glen film Octopussy based on a screenplay by George MacDonald Fraser and Richard Maibam and starring Roger Moore as James Bond. Plot summary: In a bid to stop the outbreak of World War III James Bond joins a circus group to disrupt the plans of Kamal Kahn [Louis Jourdan] and the Russian General Orlov [Steven Berkoff], who intend to set off a nuclear explosion at a US Air Force base. Bond is aided by Octopussy [Maud Adams], the leader of the circus group.
