This is a 13" x 26" Italian locandina poster for the 1958 Carol Reed film The Key based on the 1951 Jan de Hartog novel Stella, screenplay by Carl Foreman and starring Sophia Loren as Stella. Plot summary: During World War II Stella is a Swiss expatriate of Italian extraction who occupies a flat in Britain. The flat is also used alternately by a succession of tugboat captains in the Royal Navy, whose job is to rescue British freighters damaged by German U-boat and air attacks. They take turns using the key to the flat and providing for Stella's needs.

Plot summary: New Yorker Richard Sherman [Tom Ewell] finds himself alone for the summer with his family away on vacation. He begins to spend time with his upstairs neighbor [Marilyn Monroe], but it's all innocent fun.
