This is a 13" x 27.5" Italian locandina designed by Sando Symeoni for the 1965 Giorgio Ferroni film Blood for a Silver Dollar AKA Un dollaro bucato based on a story by George Finley AKA Georgio Stegani, screenplay by Giorgio Stegani and Giorgio Ferroni and starring Giulano Gemma AKA Montgomery Wood as Gary O'Hara. Plot summary: Gary O'Hara is a former Confederate officer arriving in the town of Yellowstone whose brother Phil [Nazzareno Zamperla AKA Nicholas St. John] has become an infamous gunfighter known as Black Jack. Gary is hired to kill him, not knowing he is his brother.

David and Goliath (R1980) - (Orson Welles) Spanish one-sheet

This is a 27" x 39" Spanish one-sheet poster designed by Mauro Mistiano to promote a 1980 rerelease of the 1960 Ferdinando Baldi and Richard Pottier film David and Goliath based on a screenplay by Umberto Scarpelli and Gino Mangini and starring Orson Welles as King Saul. Plot summary: This film tells in Old Testament English the Biblical story from the Book of Samuel of the war between the Philistines and the Israelites in 11th Century B.C. and the divinely ordained rise to the Israelite throne of the shepherd boy David [Ivica Pajer] after he kills Goliath [Aldo Pedinotti].
