This is a 27" x 39" Spanish poster for the 1976 William A. Graham film 21 Hours at Munich based on the 1975 Serge Groussard novel The Blood of Israel, screenplay by Edward Hume and Howard Fast and starring William Holden as Chief of Police Manfred Schreiber. Plot summary: Members of the Palestinian Black September attack the Israeli team at the 1972 Munich Olympics, killing two and holding nine others hostage, in exchange for whom they demand the release of hundreds of Arab prisoners in Israeli jails. Munich Chief of Police Manfred Schreiber negotiates with the Palestinians and tries to delay meeting their demands. The film was originally made for TV in the USA but was also released theatrically in several countries.

Flight from Ashiya (1964) - (Yul Brynner) US one-sheet

This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster designed by Frank McCarthy for the 1964 Michael Anderson film Flight from Ashiya based on a novel by Elliott Arnold, screenplay by Elliott Arnold and Waldo Salt and starring Yul Brynner as Master Sergeant Mike Takashima. Plot summary: This film juxtaposes the solemn and altruistic vow of the US Air Force Air Rescue Service with the inner conflicts and prejudices of three of its members flying aboard a Grumman HU-16 Albatross out of Ashiya Air Base in Japan when confronted with a real-world rescue mission to save some Japanese shipwreck victims off the coast of Japan while the storm that sank their ship is still raging.
