This is a US 27" x 41" one-sheet poster for the 1980 Stuart Rosenberg film Brubaker based on a book by Joe Hyams and Thomas O. Murton, story by W.D. Richter and Arthur A. Ross, screenplay by W.D. Richter and starring Robert Redford as Henry Brubaker. Plot summary: As the new warden at a small Arkansas prison farm, Henry Brubaker starts the job by posing as an inmate so he can get an inside view of the scams the guards and prison officials are running. He then reveals himself and sets out to implement reforms, against tremendous resistance from the local business community, which tries to get him into political trouble so they can eliminate him and continue to benefit from illicit activity in the prison.
