Plot summary: In the early 20th Century while searching in a diving bell for the lost city of Atlantis three sailors are dragged to the bottom of the sea by a sea monster. Nothing but the Night (R1975) - (Christopher Lee) Spanish one-sheet

This is a 27" x 39" Spanish one-sheet poster designed by Montalban for a 1975 rerelease of the 1973 Peter Sasdy film Nothing but the Night based on the novel of the same title by John Blackburn, screenplay by Brian Hayles and starring Chrisopther Lee as Colonel Charles Bingham. Plot summary: Three trustees of the Van Traylen fund have seemingly killed themselves in the last three months; three more trustees died later in a bus accident along with 30 orphan children. Colonel Bingham becomes suspicious and finds discrepancies that make him doubt it was an accident. A psychiastrist Dr. Peter Haynes [Keith Barron] who was treating one of the children is murdered, making it clear there is foul play. The psychiastrist's supervisor Sir Mark Ashley [Peter Cushing] decides to help the police investigate.
