The Thief of Baghdad (R1974) - (Sabu) Egyptian one-sheet poster
This is an Egyptian poster printed by al-Nasr printers of Cairo to promote a 1974 rerelease of the 1940 Ludwig Berger and Michael Powell film The Thief of Baghdad based on a screenplay by Miles Malleson and starring Sabu as Abu the thief. Plot summary: Prince Ahmad [John Justin], the blinded and forsaken rightful king of Baghdad, is unjustly imprisoned; while in captivity he meets the thief Abu, who has also been imprisoned. The two of them find a way to escape the prison and embark upon a series of fantastic adventures.
