The Wild Angels (1966) - (Peter Fonda) US three-sheet

This is an original 41" x 81" US three-sheet poster made to promote the 1966 Roger Corman film The Wild Angels starring Peter Fonda as Heavenly Blues, based on a story by Charles B. Griffith. Plot summary: In this biker film Joe "Loser" Stearns [Bruce Dern] has his motorcycle stolen and is then hospitalized. His pals the Wild Angels bust him out of the hospital, but then he dies. Even Joe's funeral becomes an occasion for another rowdy, drunken brawl.

Cattle Annie and Little Britches (1980) - (Burt Lancaster) Spanish one-sheet

This is a 27" x 39" Spanish one-sheet poster using art by Macario "Mac" Gomez to promote the 1980 Lamont Johnson film Cattle Annie and Little Britches based on a novel by Robert Ward with screenplay by David Eyre and starring Scott Glenn as Bill Dalton. Plot summary: The events in this film are partly accurate historically, based on the lives of two adolescent girls in 19th Century Oklahoma who leave home to cast their lot with some famous criminals, the remnants of the Doolin-Dalton Gang. The older of the two girls is Anna Emmaline McDoulet "Cattle Annie" played by Amanda Plummer; the younger is Jennie Stevens -"Little Britches" [Diane Lane]. The two girls try to inspire Bill Doolin [Burt Lancaster] to achieve greater things out of great admiration formed in the reading of accounts of him in stories by Ned Buntline, the famous American journalist, publicist and dime novelist.

Devil's Angels (1967) - (John Cassavetes) US three-sheet

This is a 41" x 81" three-sheet US poster issued in two pieces made to promote the 1967 Daniel Haller film Devil's Angels (AKA The Checkered Flag) based on a story by Charles B. Griffith and starring John Cassavetes as Cody. Plot summary: Cody is the leader of a lawless biker gang called the Skulls. When one of the gang members accidentally kills someone in a traffic accident, they win a reprieve from the local sheriff in exchange for providing protective services. This film is a follow-up to the 1966 Roger Corman film Wild Angels, which was also written by Charles B. Griffith.
