This is a 19" x 27" Yugoslavian poster for an undated rerelease of the 1938 Michael Curtiz film The Adventures of Robin Hood based on a screenplay by Norman Reilly Raine and Seton I. Miller and starring Errol Flynn as Sir Robin of Locksley AKA Robin Hood. Plot summary: In England in 1191 Sir Robin of Locksley takes a stand against Prince John [Claude Rains] when he usurps the throne of his brother King Richard the Lionheart [Ian Hunter]; Sir Robin goes underground and vows to do everything he can to restore Richard to the throne. He also binds his followers to an oath to rob the rich and give to the poor and treat all women with courtesy.

The Little Princess (R1970s) - (Shirley Temple) Yugoslavian poster

This is a 19" x 27" Yugoslavian poster for a 1970s rerelease of the 1939 Walter Lang film The Little Princess based on the 1905 novel A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett, screenplay by Ethel Hill and Walter Ferris and starring Shirley Temple as Sara Crewe. Plot summary: In 1899 in London when Captain Crewe [Ian Hunter] goes to the Transvaal to fight in the Boer War, he leaves his young daughter Sara Crewe with Amanda Minchin, [Mary Nash] the head of a private school for girls. Sara's situation changes when her father is reported missing in action and the school stops receiving her tuition payments.

Pictured is a 29" x 43" folded original Argentine stone litho one-sheet poster designed by an unknown designer to promote the 1961 Sydney J. Furie film Dr. Blood's Coffin based on story and screenplay by Nathan Juran adapted for film by James Kelley and Peter Miller and starring Kieron Moore as Dr. Peter Blood. Plot summary: Dr. Blood is a mad scientist who brings the dead back to life in a laboratory hidden in a Cornish tin mine. He does this by using curare to remove living hearts from undeserving people and transferring them to the bodies of deserving dead people.
