Plot summary: In an American city in the 1950s a Rock and Roll singer [Diane Lane] is kidnapped by a motorcycle gang and has to be rescued by her boyfriend Tom Cody [Michael Paré].

Southern Comfort (1981) - (Keith Carradine) US one-sheet

This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster for the 1981 Walter hill film Southern Comfort written by Michael Kane, Walter Hill and David Giler and starring Keith Carradine as PFC Spencer. Plot summary: On a weekend maneuver in 1973 in a Louisiana swamp a squad of Louisiana National Guardsmen steals three canoes and uses them to cross a swamp. As the soldiers are paddling across the swamp the owners of the boats, a group of Cajun trappers, shoot and kill the squad's leader Staff Sergeant Poole [Peter Coyote] in a fit of rage. This sets off a long bloody confrontation which does not go well for the guardsmen.

The Getaway (1972) - (Steve McQueen) Polish one-sheet

Pictured is a 22" x 32" Polish one-sheet designed by Elzbieta Procka for the 1972 Sam Peckinpah film The Getaway based on the Jim Thompson novel, screenplay by Walter Hill and starring Steve McQueen as Doc McCoy. Plot summary: Jack Benyon [Ben Johnson], a corrupt San Antonio businessman, arranges parole for Doc McCoy on the condition that he rob a bank with two of Jack's cohorts. During the robbery Doc shoots both of Jack's men. One of the cohorts named Rudy [Al Lettieri] survives after being shot by Doc; after his injuries are treated he pursues Doc and his wife Carol [Ali MacGraw], as does Jack's brother Cully Benson [Roy Jenson]. As their flight continues our bank robbers are pursued by more people.

This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster for the 1972 Robert Culp film Hickey & Boggs based on a story by Walter Hill, starring Bill Cosby as Al Hickey and Robert Culp as Frank Boggs. Plot summary: Hickey & Boggs are two private eyes hired to find a missing girl named Mary Jane Bower [Carmencristina Moreno]. It soon becomes apparent that other people are also looking for the girl and that they see the two private eyes as intruders.
