This is a US 27" x 41" poster for the 1974 John Berry film Claudine based on a story by Leter and Tina Pine and starring Diahann Carroll as Claudine. The film is an unusual example from this period of a mainstream film with black actors that is not considered blaxploitation. Plot summary: Claudine is raising six children in Harlem while living on welfare. While working on the side as a maid she meets Rupert [James Earl Jones], a city sanitation worker. At first her children are rude to him because they think he will abandon her as her other men have done. Rupert is paying child support from a previous marriage and the stress from this situation creates problems for him on the job.

Plot summary: The film tells the story of a cougar adopted at a young age by humans that never has contact with any other cougars who can teach him how to live the way a cougar should do.

Challenge To Be Free (1975) - (Mike Mazurki) US one-sheet

This is a US 27" x 41" one-sheet poster made to promote the 1980 Tay Garnett film Challenge to Be Free based on a story by Anne Bosworth and Chuck D. Keen suggested by research by Dick North and starring Mike Mazurki as Trapper. Plot summary: John McIntire narrates this story about a trapper who has made the Alaskan wilds his home among his many friends, the region's wild animals. This idyllic state of affairs is disrupted when a complaint from another trapper named Frenchy [Vic Christy] brings the forces of the law into the tranquil life of the itinerant woodsman. McIntire's narrative recalls the time when he personally led a posse on its long pursuit over 1000 miles of treacherous frozen terrain.

This is a US 27" x 41" one-sheet poster for the 1950 Tay Garnett film Cause for Alarm based on a screenplay by Mel Dinelli and Tom Lewis and starring Loretta Young as Ellen Jones. Plot summary: After George Jones [Barry Sullivan] writes a letter to a district attorney stating he suspects his wife of conspiring to murder him, he dies unexpectedly. The existence of the letter to the district attorney makes Ellen Jones appear guilty of murdering her husband.

This is a 27" x 39" Spanish one-sheet poster using art by Macario "Mac" Gomez to promote the 1980 Lamont Johnson film Cattle Annie and Little Britches based on a novel by Robert Ward with screenplay by David Eyre and starring Scott Glenn as Bill Dalton. Plot summary: The events in this film are partly accurate historically, based on the lives of two adolescent girls in 19th Century Oklahoma who leave home to cast their lot with some famous criminals, the remnants of the Doolin-Dalton Gang. The older of the two girls is Anna Emmaline McDoulet "Cattle Annie" played by Amanda Plummer; the younger is Jennie Stevens -"Little Britches" [Diane Lane]. The two girls try to inspire Bill Doolin [Burt Lancaster] to achieve greater things out of great admiration formed in the reading of accounts of him in stories by Ned Buntline, the famous American journalist, publicist and dime novelist.
