Taylor and starring James Stewart as John Ferguson. Plot summary: Gavin Elster [Tom Helmore] has killed his wife and needs to make it look like a suicide. He asks his friend John "Scottie" Ferguson to follow his wife. The woman Ferguson follows is actually another woman [Kim Novak] who resembles Elster's wife [also Kim Novak]; this helps Elster use his wife's body to set up a fake leap from a high place that Ferguson will witness.
