This is an 11" x 14" lobby card for a 1973 rerelease of the 1967 Jun Fukuda film Son of Godzilla starring Tadao Takashima as Dr. Kusumi. Plot summary: During a weather research trip on Solgel Island a group of scientists has unexpected encounters with massive oversized insects and a giant spider, as well as Godzilla with his newly-hatched son. Godzilla and son fight the spider and the insects while Godzilla teachess his son the requisite skills of monsterhood.

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) - (dir: Jun Fukuda) Japanese B1 English poster

This is a 28.5" x 40" Japanese English poster for the 1974 Jun Fukuda film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla AKA Gojira tai Mekagojira based on a story by Masami Fukushima and Shin'ichi Sekizawa, screenplay by Jun Fukuda and Hiroyasu Yamamura and starring Masaaki Daimon as Keisuke Shimizu. Plot summary: A group of aliens who want to take over the planet realize this will not be possible without defeating Godzilla, so they build a huge robot that is more powerful than Godzilla; the clash between the robot Mechagodzilla and Godzilla becomes the centerpiece of the story.

Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster (1966) - (dir: Jun Fukuda) Italian locandina

This is a 13" x 27.25" Italian locandina poster designed to promote the 1966 Jun Fukuda film Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster starring Akira Takarada as Yoshimura. Plot summary: In a storm, some teenagers are shipwrecked on an Island whose population is being enslaved by Red Bamboo, a criminal organization. The island is also unders siege by a giant lobster named Ebirah, the sea monster. The teenagers find Godzilla sleeping on the island; they awaken him and recruit him to fight Ebirah and defeat Red Bamboo.

War in Space (1977) - (Kensaku Morita) Seven Mexican Lobby Cards

These are seven 16.5" x 21" Mexican paper lobby cards for the 1977 Jun Fukuda film The War in Space (Japanese Wakusei daisenso) based on a story by Hideichi Nagahara and Ryuzo Nakanishi and starring Kensaku Morita as Miyoshi. The principal design element of each card is the huge heavily armed "space battleship" Gohten built by Earth's team of scientists to fight the invaders from Venus. Plot summary: When earth is attacked by an alien spacecraft from Venus, Japanese scientists build the space battleship Gohten to use in trying to save humanity. At first the request to build the battleship is ignored, but when an alien tries to kidnap Professor Mataso Takigawa [Ryo Ikebe] everybody realizes Earth is under attack and efforts are mobilized to build the battleship, which easily destroys the attacking enemy fighters and then moves on to Venus to hit their base of operations.

Godzilla vs. the Sea Monster (1966) - (dir: Jun Fukuda) Italian two-sheet

This is a 39" x 55" Italian two-sheet poster designed by Orovato to promote the 1966 Jun Fukuda film Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster starring Akira Takarada as Yoshimura. Plot summary: In a storm, some teenagers are shipwrecked on an Island whose population is being enslaved by Red Bamboo, a criminal organization. The island is also unders seige by a giant lobster named Ebirah, the sea monster. The teenagers find Godzilla sleeping on the island; they awaken him and recruit him to fight Ebirah and defeat Red Bamboo. This poster shows King Kong, who was the film's original monster before Toho replaced the big ape with Godzilla.

Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973) - (dir: Jun Fukuda) German one-sheet

This is a 23" x 33" German poster made to promote the 1973 Jun Fukuda film Godzilla vs. Megalon based on a story by Takeshi Kimura and starring Katsuhiko Sasaki as Inventor Goro Ibuki. Plot summary: Once again nuclear testing by surface civilizations incites the wrath of undersea monsters, this time in the form of the monster Megalon acting on behalf of an undersea civilization known as Seatopia. Fortunately for the surface world, Goro Ibuki, an inventor, creates a humanoid robot named Jet Jaguar (shown in the foreground on this German poster) who enlists the aid of Godzilla on nearby Monster Island to defend the surface world against the attack from Megalon.
