This is a 27.25" x 37.5" Iranian poster designed by Bateni for the 1986 film Fusillade AKA Teer Baran written and directed by Ali Asghar Shadravan and starring Majid Majidi. Plot summary: This is the story of the life and death of anti-monarchist revolutionary Sayed Ali Andarzgoo. In Bahman 1343 [21 January - 19 February 1964] Mohammad Andarzgoo and several other people waited in front of the Majles building for Hassan'ali Masour to arrive in his chauffeured black limosine; when he arrived they assassinated him. Agents did much investigation and finally arrested and executed all the perpetrators with the exception of Sayed Ali Andarzgoo. SAVAK agents kept looking for Andarzgoo because they considered him one of the main planners of the assassination, but he eluded arrest several times, moving with his family from one place to another. Finally SAVAK agents found where he was living and killed him in a street shootout.

This is a 27" x 37.5" Iranian poster distributed by the Sureh Cinema Distribution Organization for the 2008 Majid Majidi film The Song of Sparrows written by Mehran Kashani and Majid Majidi and starring Mohammad Amir Naji as Karim. Plot summary: On a desert ostrich farm in Iran Karim's favorite bird escapes and he is unable to find it. He is fired. He goes to Tehran to operate a motorcycle taxi and take care of some family business; in the chaos there he experiences his own hectic version of rural/urban culture shock. This was Iran's official entry in the 2009 Academy Awards Foreign Language Film category.

This is a 26.5" x 38" Iranian poster designed by Bateni to promote the 1986 Ali Asghar Shadravan film Fussilade [tirbaran] starring Majid Majidi based on a screenplay by Ali Asghar Shadravan with cinematography by Homayun Payvar. Plot summary: In January 1965 Mohammad Andarzgoo and a few other people wait in front of the Parliament Building to assassinate Prime Minister Hassan Ali Mansour. The assassination is a success but all the assassins are arrested and executed after much investigation, with the exception of Andarzgoo. SAVAK agents are trying to catch Andarzgoo because they consider him one of the main planners of the assassination. However he disguises himself and continues the resistance. He is almost arrested several times, and each time this happens he has to move with his family to another city or village. At last the SAVAK surround his home and he is martyred in a fierce gunfight.
