This is a 19.5"x 28" Yugoslavian poster for the 1961 Elia Kazan film Splendor in the Grass written by William Inge and starring Natalie Wood as Wilma Dean Loomis. Plot summary: It is 1928 in southeast Kansas and Bud Stamper [Warren Beatty] and Deanie Loomis are high school kids in love. Their relationship is a thing of beauty but social pressures and unmet expectations from family and school are a constant trial.

Pictured is a two-piece 55" x 77" Italian four-sheet poster for the 1961 Elia Kazan film Splendor in the Grass based on a story by William Inge and starring Natalie Wood as Deanie Loomis. Plot summary: The setting is a high school in southeast Kansas in 1928 where the two seniors Bud Stamper [Warren Beatty] and Deanie Loomis are in love. Like all love stories, this one has major complications, the ones that are peculiar to young folks who have not yet established themselves in the world and are still trying to please others who do know where they belong.

Egyptian 39x80 Rebel without a Cause

Rebel without a Cause (1955) - (James Dean) three piece Egyptian poster

This is a ragged but still presentable three-piece Warner Brothers poster printed in Egypt for the 1955 Nicholas Ray film Rebel without a Cause, measuring 39" x 80." It was designed by Wahib Fahmy and printed by Raghaeb Printers. The Arabic title in yellow script at the top of the poster could be translated as "The Recklessness of Youth."
