This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian one-sheet designed by Khamis and Sami for the 1989 Tim Burton film Batman starring Jack Nicholson as Jack Napier/The Joker based on Batman characters by Bob Kane, story by Sam Hamm and screenplay by Sam Hamm and Warren Skaaren. Plot summary: Vicki Vale [Kim Basinger] has come to Gotham city to do an article about Batman. She starts a relationship with billionaire Bruce Wayne, [Michael Keaton] without realizing he is Batman's alter ego. The man who really runs the town is Carl Grissom, [Jack Palance] who does his work with the help of his brutal factotum Jack Napier; Napier later becomes The Joker after a run-in with the police.

This is a 13" x 28" Italian locandina poster for the 1968 Ted Post film Hang 'Em High written by Mel Goldberg and Leonard Freeman and starring Clint Eastwood as Marshal Jed Cooper. Plot summary: In 1889 in Oklahoma territory Jed Cooper has retired from law enforcement and taken up cattle ranching. While moving his herd he is stopped and lynched by a gang of vigilantes who wrongly suspect him of cattle rustling; after the vigilantes have left him for dead he is cut down and saved in the nick of time by Federal Marshal Dave Bliss [Ben Johnson]. In Fort Grant Cooper takes a job as deputy marshal and goes after the vigilanties.

Invitation to a Gunfighter (1964) - (Yul Brynner) US one-sheet

This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster for the 1964 Richard Wilson film Invitation to a Gunfighter based on a story by Hal Goodman and Larry Klein, screenplay by Richard and Elizabeth Wilson and starring Yul Brynner as Jules Gaspard d'Estaing. Plot summary: Matt Weaver [George Segal] returns home to Pecos New Mexico after the Civil War and finds his farm has been sold and his fiancee Ruth Adams [Janice Rule] has married someone else. Pecos is now full of Union sympathizers who resent Weaver's service to the Confederacy; a banker named Sam Brewster [Pat Hingle] who was also responsible for the sale of Weaver's farm, brings a gunman named d'Estaing into town to shoot it out with Weaver. D'Estaing's careful assessment of the town's social dynamic plays a key role in his approach to the situation.

Pictured is a two-piece 55" x 77" Italian four-sheet poster for the 1961 Elia Kazan film Splendor in the Grass based on a story by William Inge and starring Natalie Wood as Deanie Loomis. Plot summary: The setting is a high school in southeast Kansas in 1928 where the two seniors Bud Stamper [Warren Beatty] and Deanie Loomis are in love. Like all love stories, this one has major complications, the ones that are peculiar to young folks who have not yet established themselves in the world and are still trying to please others who do know where they belong.
