This is a folded 19.5" x 27" Yugoslavian poster using art by Robert McGinnis for the 1961 Blake Edwards film Breakfast at Tiffany's based on the 1958 novel of the same title by Truman Capote, screenplay by George Axelrod and starring Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly. Plot summary: Holly Golightly is a young New York City socialite who becomes interested in a writer named Paul Varjak [George Peppard] who moves into her building. Her hillbilly past soon comes looking for her when her former husband Doc Golightly [Buddy Ebsen] arrives. Doc Golightly knows Holly as Lula Mae.

This is a 22" x 33.5" reprint of a half-sheet poster for the 1951 Robert Wise film The Day the Earth Stood Still based on a story by Harry Bates, screenplay by Edmund H. North and starring Michael Rennie as Klaatu. Plot summary: Klaatu, an alien from a planet 250 million miles away, lands on an American baseball diamond in Washington D.C. with his robot Gort [Lock Martin] just after the end of World War II. He wants to make it known to the people that their warlike ways are no longer tolerable now that they have begun developing atomic energy.

Hud (1963) - (Paul Newman) Australian daybill

This is a 13" x 30" Australian stone litho daybill poster for the 1963 Martin Ritt film Hud based on the 1961 Larry McMurtry novel Horseman, Pass By with screenplay by Irving Ravetch and Harriet Frank, Jr. and starring Paul Newman as Hud Bannon. Plot summary: This is a contemporary Western drama played by a core ensemble cast including Texas cattle rancher Homer Bannon [Melvyn Douglas], his violent alcoholic son Hud, Hud's nephew Lonnie Bannon [Brandon de Wilde] and their middle-aged housekeeper Alma [Patricia Neal]. Life on the ranch is disrupted by the discovery of foot-and-mouth disease among the cattle, a state ordered livestock quarantine and the killing of the herd by order of the state veterinarian. Other problems cause major conflicts in the family including a profound antagonism between Homer and Hud and Hud's abusive interest in Alma. Hud won three academy awards including Best Actress (Patricia Neal), Best Supporting Actor (Melvyn Douglas) and Best Cinematography (James Wong Howe).
