Tarzan Escapes (R1954) - (Johnny Weissmuller) Italian locandina

This is a 13" x 26" Italian locandina poster for a 1954 rerelease of the 1936 Richard Thorpe film Tarzan Escapes based on characters created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, screenplay by Cyril Hume and starring Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan. Plot summary: Jane [Maureen O'Sullivan] and her cousins have inherited money from their uncle, but it will not be available unless Jane returns to civilization. Captain Fry [John Buckler] is a professional hunter who agrees to help the cousins find Tarzan and Jane, while secretly planning to abduct Tarzan and make an exhibition of him.

Plot summary: Joan Howell [Sandra Dee] is dating Tom Milford in New York City. Tom does not know Joan is the maid who cleans his apartment every day, but he goes along as if everything is normal when Joan takes him there for a date in lieu of using her own cramped apartment.
