This is a 27" x 19.5" Iranian poster designed by Davvalu for the 1964 Nosratolah Vahdat film The Foreign Bride based on a screenplay by Ahmad Najibzadeh and starring Pouri Baneai as Marya, the foreign bride. The film tells the story of the taxi driver Hoseyn [Nosratolah Vahdat] who is unable to marry his fiance because of financial problems and is working overtime. He gets involved with a foreign girl named Marya, who soon decides she wants to marry him. After a few incidents the taxi driver decides he prefers to marry his fiance.
