Craze (R1987) - (Jack Palance) Egyptian one-sheet
This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Moaty for a 1987 rerelease of the 1974 Freddie Francis film Craze based on the 1967 Henry Seymour (AKA Helmut Henry Hartmann) novel Infernal Idol with screenplay by Herman Cohen and Aben Kandel and starring Jack Palance as Neal Mottram. Plot summary: Neal Mottram is a deranged antique shop owner in 1960s London who performs bizarre nightly rituals for Chuku, a wooden African god who demands female human sacrifice. Neal believes Chuku will reward him with great wealth and power in return for the blood offerings. He is troubled by the fact that the police see ritual sacrifice as murder.
