This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Gasour for the 1981 Simon Saleh film A Person Lives Once AKA al-insan yaeesh mara wahida written by Wahid Hamid and starring Adel Imam as Hani. Plot summary: Dr. Amal [Youssra] moved her practice to Salloum after the death of her fiance. There she met Hani and formed a strong relationship with him. Hani became friends with Bakri, [Aly El Cherif] a school guard from upper Egypt who was being chased by Haridi, [Naeem Esa] who had a grudge against him. Hani and Amal decided to marry and go to Cairo with Bakri. Haridi arrived in Salloum and when he heard about Bakri's trip he jumped on the train with a small firearm as it was leaving the platform.

Shown here is an Egyptian 27" x 39" poster designed by Mohammad Abdel Aziz to promote the 1978 109-minute Yehia El Alami color film Hearts in a Sea of Tears [qolub fi bahr al-domu'] starring Soheir Ramzy as Samah based on a story by Ibrahim Al-Wardani with screenplay and dialogue by Yehia El Alami and Abdel Aziz Salam and cinematography by Ali Khair Allah. Plot summary: Samah was working at a hotel to provide for her family. Love developed between her and Mamdhouh, [Mahmoud Abdel Aziz] a young man from a wealthy family. Mamdouh's mother [Zuzu Madi] would not allow them to marry because of their class differences, but Mamdouh defied her and remained loyal to Samah. Samah's brother Adel [Salah El-Saadani] died of a severe illness. Mamdouh was confronting enormous debts and could not marry Samah even though he loved her; she gave up on him and went abroad to look for work.
