This is a 25.5" x 35.5" Iranian poster for the 1972 Amir Shervan film Attraction AKAkhaterkhah based on a story by Aronaghi-Kermani, screenplay by Amir Shervan and starring Naser Malek Motiee as Siroos. Plot summary: Siroos had divorced his wife and was living with his sister [Roya] father [Hosein Amirfazli] mother [Mehri Vadadian] and his son, [Farhad Mohabbat] met Behgat [Fourouzan] and her friend Mahin, [Sorayya Beheshti] loose women living in the care of Ahmad, [Ahmad Moini] Behgat's jealous boyfriend. One day Siroos's nephew Ibrahim [Bahman Mofid] invited him to the garden at his villa, where he met Behgat. At first he drove Behgat away and then went looking for her. Siroos married Behgat with opposition from his mother and support from his father. Ahmad told Siroos's parents about Behgat's sordid past. He went to Behgat's home and had a fight with her after breaking in. Behgat knocked Ahmad down by breaking a glass vase over his head and went to jail for it. When she was released later her husband, father and mother welcomed her home.

Punishment (1978) - (Bahman Mofid) Iranian poster

This is a 37.5" x 19.5" Iranian poster for the 1973 Kamran Ghadakchian film Punishment [mokafat] written by Sirus Alvand and starring Manoochehr Vossoogh. Plot summary: Morteza [Bahman Mofid] courts Tala, disregarding the fact that his brother Mojtaba [Manoochehr Vossoogh] is also in love with her. Mojtaba and Morteza get into a fight with Saber [Hosein Gil] and his brother Akbar [Ali Darvish]. After Saber is injured Mojataba admits he was the one who did it and is arrested. Morteza marries Tala while Saber, whose injury has made him impotent, decides to get revenge.

Tuti (1978) - (Bahman Mofid) Iranian one-sheet

This is a 26.5" x 35" Iranian film poster designed by Bateni for the 1978 film Tuti [طوطی] written and directed by Zackaria Hashemi and starring Bahman Mofid. Plot summary: Hashem [Zackaria Hashemi] and Bahman [Bahman Mofid] are very old friends who don't know how to do anything but hang around in bad neighborhoods and enjoy themselves. They are boorish characters who spend their days and nights in a whorehouse owned by Tavoos [Parvin Soleymani]. Bahman knows Tuti [Fereshte Jenabi] and pretends his friend Hashem is mute while Hashem is present; Hashem goes along temporarily. Hashem and Tuti become intimate and fall in love; Hashem is upset that Bahman said he was a mute. In telling her life story to Hashem, Tuti says her stepfather had beaten her and this was why she had wandered into the bad neighborhood. When Tuti gets sick Hashem and Bahman put her in a hospital. When she gets better and comes back to the neighborhood Hashem and Bahman are planning to take her away from there, but they get into a jealous fight with a local bully named Akbar [Hosein Gil] and he stabs Hashem. The police are called in and shoot Akbar. Tuti, who is lying beside Hashem, is also killed.

Here is an 18.75" x 26.75" busta-style Iranian poster made to promote the 1971 Ali Hatami 95-minute black-and-white film Baba Shamal [بابا شمل] starring Fardin based on a screenplay by Ali Hatami with cinematography by Maziar Parto. The film was proudced by the Badi' Studio; it is a costume drama set in the late 19th or early 20th century. Plot summary: Because of rivalries between two neighborhoods, their local bosses Heydar and Baba Shamal clashed and then later became fast friends. After the disputes were resolved Baba Shamal set out to marry a girl named Shokat. Heydar was also interested in Shokat. To keep from disrupting the marriage Heydar decided to leave, but then cancelled the trip for the sake of Baba Shamal; when he did not leave this caused rumors and then there was another clash between Baba Shamal and Heydar. However the truth ultimately became known.

This is a 27" x 19.5" Iranian poster designed by Ahang to promote the 1972 Nesame Fatemi black-and-white film Golden Topknot [kakol-e zarri] starring Reza Beyk Imanverdi based on a screenplay by Ahmad Najibzadeh with cinematography by Said Nivandi. The film was produced by the Oskar Film Company. Plot summary: A girl was raped and killed. Her fiance was accused of the murder but he fled before being arrested. He happened to run into the rapist and gave him guidance to becoming a worthy person. The rapist decided to turn himself in to the police. His father tried to prevent it but did not succeed. The rapist told the truth and brought about the release of the girl's fiance.
