This is 19.5" x 27.5" Iranian poster for the 1963 film The Shores of Anticipation written and directed by Syamak Yasami and starring Fardin; nominated for the Grand Prize at the 1963 Moscow International Film Festival. Plot summary: Qasem Khan [Akbar Khajavi] thought he owned part of the ocean and got into a clash with some fishermen over fishing rights. Everyone joined the fight and after Qasem Khan's people dispersed the fishermen they confiscated the fish they had caught. After his son Masoud [Mohammad Ali Jafari] attacked him and said his claim to ownership of part of the sea was unconscionable Qasem Khan drove him out of the house; he took refuge with the people. Ahmad [Fardin] liked Kazem's [Gholamhossein Naghshineh] daughter Maryam [Forouzan]. Ahmad went to sea fishing with a group of fishermen but the sea was tempestuous and he turned up missing. A girl named Ghazaleh [Tahmine] living near the beach with her father [Ali Zandi] found Ahmad washed ashore unconscious; she looked after him with his broken leg. In Ahmad's absence Masoud began teaching literacy to the local people and got close to Maryam, who was pregnant with Ahmad's child; Masoud married her to save her honor and told everyone he was the father of her child. Some time later Ahmad came back to his coastal home, but Maryam preferred living with Masoud. Ghazaleh was waiting for Ahmad after Maryam left him alone on the beach.

This is a 23.5" x 35.25" Iranian poster for the 1972 Tapi Chanakya film Homaye Saadat AKA Subah-O-Sham based on a screenplay by Shankar Kinagi and Harish Shukla and starring Fardin as Aarun. This was the first Indian film ever filmed in Iran. Plot summary: The wealthy Aarun in Tehran becomes infatuated with an alcoholic indian concubine named Shirin, [Waheeda Rehman], but he knows his mother will not approve of her. When he makes plans to marry her secretly she refuses at the last minute. In anger Aarun marries Nazneen instead, who was his mother's choice for him, and moves to Ehwas. Later Nazneen has a child, but this is not the end of Aram's relationship with Shirin.

This is a 27.5" x 13" Iranian poster designed by an unknown artist to promote the 1966 Mohamad Ali Fardin 115-minute black-and-white film Hatam Ta'i starring Fardin based on a screenplay by Fardin with cinematography by Mehdi Amir Qasemkhani. The film was produced by the Misaghyeh Studio. Plot summary: Gavaran Khan decided to seek the hand of Hatam's daughter Puneh in marriage on behalf of Abbas. With the cooperation of her cousin Sharareh, Puneh asked her father to give her ten days to introduce the youth she wanted for herself. One day the automobile carrying Sharareh and Puneh broke down on the road and the two of them asked the blacksmith Jalal and his apprentice Ahmad for help. Dressed in men's clothing, Puneh and Sharareh went to Jalal's favorite cafe to get to know him better. Puneh revealed her interest in Jalal and Jalal went to meet Hatam in work clothes using the name Farrokh Nozar to ask for Puneh's hand. Hatam drove him away and Jalal angrily left Puneh. Puneh ran away from home and went to the home of Jalal's mother. Hatam pleaded and gave Jalal a check for three million tumans, asking him to stay away from his daughter. Jalal tore the check up in front of Hatam. Under the influence of Jalal's behavior Hatam told his daughter what had happened and then sent her after Jalal.

Plot summary: After being in an accident in which each thought the other had been killed, a young married couple named Setareh [Azar Shiva] and Saeed [Fardin] lived separately for years. Saeed became a famous singer and the woman lost her eyesight in an accident. Years later Saeed happened to meet a little girl named Khorshid [Leila Forouhar] without knowing she was his daughter; with financial help from his wealthy fiancee, Saeed paid the expenses of an English doctor to come to Iran and treat the girl's mother, without knowing she was his missing wife. On the wedding night his wife and child appeared to thank him. In this way the old couple found each other again after a long time and began a new life together. Not told is the story of the heartbreak and disappointment of the wealthy woman who had been counting on a marriage to Saeed and who paid for the recovery of the blind woman he actually married.

Here is an 18.75" x 26.75" busta-style Iranian poster made to promote the 1971 Ali Hatami 95-minute black-and-white film Baba Shamal [بابا شمل] starring Fardin based on a screenplay by Ali Hatami with cinematography by Maziar Parto. The film was proudced by the Badi' Studio; it is a costume drama set in the late 19th or early 20th century. Plot summary: Because of rivalries between two neighborhoods, their local bosses Heydar and Baba Shamal clashed and then later became fast friends. After the disputes were resolved Baba Shamal set out to marry a girl named Shokat. Heydar was also interested in Shokat. To keep from disrupting the marriage Heydar decided to leave, but then cancelled the trip for the sake of Baba Shamal; when he did not leave this caused rumors and then there was another clash between Baba Shamal and Heydar. However the truth ultimately became known.

Plot summary: A child who had lost its mother always asked its young uncle for its mother; the uncle lied and told the child its mother had gone to heaven but would be returning some day. One day in a telephone conversation with a dancer the child thought it had found its mother. Telephone conversations and meetings deepened this relationship every day. Love also gradually grew between the dancer and the child's young uncle, to the point where the dancer quit her job. The owner of the cabaret where she had worked tried to bring her back but the young man prevented this and married her.

Plot summary: Ayaz is hostile to Nasir's family so he plots to have the head of the family thrown in prison. Nasir [Fardin] sets out to get revenge but he is driven out of the city by Ayaz. Nasir meets a public gymnast and learns some strongman exhibition stunts. When he returns he kidnaps Ayaz's daughter and ties her to a wagon so he can rape her. Ayaz frantically pursues Nasir but falls off a roof and dies. Nasir changes his mind and ends up marrying the girl he loves.
