This is a 14" x 36" US Style C insert poster designed by Tom Jung for the 1973 Mike Nichols film The Day of the Dolphin based on the 1967 novel Un animal doué de raison by Robert Merle (English translation by Helen Weaver published in 1969), screenplay by Buck Henry and starring George C. Scott as Dr. Jacob Terrell. Plot summary: For years Dr. Jake Terrell has been training a pair of dolphins at his marine institute on an island in the Pacific Ocean. After a visit from a suspicious journalist he learns the animals have been stolen for use in an assassination attempt. Jake now has the perilous task of finding his dolphins and identifying the target of the assassination.

Dune (1984) - (dir: David Lynch) US advance one-sheet

This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet two-moon advance poster designed by Tom Jung for the 1984 David Lynch film Dune based on the 1965 Frank Herbert novel of the same title, screenplay by David Lynch and starring Kyle MacLachlan as Paul Atreides, the prophetic dreamer. Plot summary: Thousands of years into the future, the most essential and valuable known commodity is called melange, or "the spice," which can extend life and expand consciousness. Its most valuable property is its ability to assist with the folding of space, which allows safe and instantaneous interstellar travel. The sole source of this precious substance is Planet Arrakis (AKA "Dune"). The emperor of the universe, Padishah Shaddam IV, [Jose Ferrer] plans to turn over control of the Planet Arrakis to the House of Atreides and then have them ambushed by the Harkonnens under the leadership of Baron Vladimir Harkonnen on the industrial world of Giedi Prime. The emperor suspects Duke Leto Atreides [Jurgen Prochnow] of forming a secret army which will be a threat to him. To evade the emperor's plot the Atreides leave their home in Calada and go to Arrakis.

This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster designed by Tom Jung to promote the 1970 Elliot Silverstein film A Man Called Horse based on a 1950 short story with the same title by Dorothy M. Johnson, screenplay by Jack DeWitt and starring Richard Harris as John Morgan. Plot summary: In 1825 John Morgan, an English aristocrat, is captured by the Sioux indians after an attack in which all the other members of his group are massacred. He is initially enslaved and ridiculed, then learns the ways of his captors and claims warrior status by killing two members of a neighboring Shoshone tribe.

This is a 29" x 43" Argentine reviews one-sheet using art by Tom Jung for the 1957 Robert Youngston film The Golden Age of Comedy written by Robert Youngson and Rene Claire and starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy and other prominent comics from the silent film era including Will Rogers, Ben Turpin, Harry Langdon and Charley Chase. Plot summary: This documentary is a compliation of scenes in nine separate acts from important films produced by the Mack Sennet and Hal Roach studios.

McGinnis to promote the 1975 Douglas Hickox film Brannigan based on a screenplay by Christopher Trumbo and Michael Butler and starring John Wayne as Jim Brannigan. Plot summary: Chicago detective Jim Brannigan [John Wayne] is sent to London to bring back an American mobster who has been arrested there, but when he arrives he finds the mobster has been kidnapped.
