Plot summary: In 1909 John Fain [Richard Boone] and his gang raid the McCandles ranch, kill all the ranch hands and then kidnap the McCandles grandson Jake. Martha McCandles, [Maureen O'Hara] who is running the ranch alone, sends for Big Jake, her estranged husband. Big Jake is an aging gunfighter and the only person Martha considers up the task of confronting the gang.

The sheriff needs help.

Plot summary: In the final days of the American Civil War, Union Colonel John Henry Thomas and his men drive a herd of 3,000 horses into Mexico to be sold in Durango. Colonel James Langdon [Rock Hudson] and his regiment of Confederate soldiers feel the war has deprived them of their homes and decide to join the French invasion of Mexico led by Emperor Maximilian. When they arrive in Mexico General Rojas [Antonio Aguilar] intercepts and holds them hostage to be exchanged for the herd of horses Colonel Thomas is bringing. When he arrives, the colonel has other ideas.

This is a 27" x 39" Spanish poster by an unknown designer for a 1965 rerelease of the 1948 Howard Hawks and Arthur Rosson film Red River based on the 1946 Borden Chase Saturday Evening Post serial "Blazing Guns on the Chisholm Trail," screenplay by Borden Chase and Charles Schnee and starring John Wayne as Thomas Dunson. Plot summary: Thomas Dunson is a cattle rancher who starts a ranch in Texas and leads a cattle drive to Abilene which is the first use of what eventually becomes known as the Chisholm Trail. The story is punctuated by trouble with indians, territorial disputes, gunfights and conflicts over women.

This is a 27" x 41" US-made Spanish poster for the 1969 Andrew V. McLaglen film Hellfighters based on a screenplay by Clair Huffaker and starring John Wayne as Chance Buckman. Plot summary: This film tells the story of a group of oil well firefighters based on the life of Red Adair, who also served as an adviser in the making of the film. Chance Buckman travels around the world putting out oil well fires but he misses his ex-wife Madelyn [Vera Miles] and his daughter Leticia [Katharine Ross], who left him 20 years ago because Madelyn was upset about him risking his life fighting fires. When Chance is nearly killed in an accident with a bulldozer, his daughter visits and this leads to her marriage to his assistant Greg Parker [Tim Hutton]. Madelyn also visits, and with her back in his life Buckman takes a safer job at another oil company hoping to win her back.

This is a US 27" x 41" one-sheet poster for the 1942 Leigh Jason film Lady for a Night based on a screenplay by Isabel Dawn and Boyce DeGaw and starring John Wayne as Jackson Morgan. The casino steamboat Memphis Belle in this film became the namesake for a famous World War II B-17 bomber. Plot summary: Jenny Blake [Joan Blondell] and Jack Morgan jointly own the Memphis Belle, a casino steamboat, which caters to an upper-class clientele. To improve her social position Jenny marries plantation owner Alan Alderson [Ray Middleton], to the dismay of Jack who secretly loves Jenny. Alan's family does not accept Jenny, and Jack and Alan's aunt Julia [Blanche Yurka] conspire to sabotage the new marriage.
