This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster for a 1944 Republic rerelease of the 1942 William C. McGann film In Old California based on a story by J. Robert Bren and Gladys Atwater, screenplay by Gertrude Purcell and Frances Hyland and starring John Wayne as Tom Craig. Plot summary: During the California Gold Rush Boston pharmacist Tom Craig moves to Sacramento and gets into a clash with Britt Dawson [Albert Dekker], a political boss who demands protection money from the population. When Dawson tells property owners not to rent to Craig for his new shop, he forms a partnership with Dawson's fiancee Lacey Miller [Binnie Barnes], who rents her property to him in exchange for a sales percentage.
