Pictured is a 27" x 37" Mexican rerelease one-sheet designed by Ernesto Garcia Cabral to promote the 1955 Rafael Baledon film El Rey De Mexico based on a story by Isaac Diaz Araiza, adapted by Luis Alcoriza and starring Adalberto Martinez as Pablo Rojas. Plot summary: A radio station offers Pablo Rojas, a homeless man, an opportunity to become a millionaire for a day. For one day Pablo is given new clothes, the companionship of beautiful women, a chauffeur-driven automobile and a fancy apartment. He is introduced to the crowd at a bullfight, attends an opera and a horserace and receives front-page newspaper coverage as the King of Mexico. At the end of his day of luxury Pablo returns to his home at a shelter and tells his friends they are not missing anything not being millionaires since the only difference in their lives is that the millionaires have ulcers.
