This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian Soviet Export Film Poster for the 1956 Aleksandr Ptushko film The Sword and the Dragon AKA Ilya Muromets written by Mikhail Kochnev and starring Boris Andreyev as Ilya Muromets. Plot summary: In a lost world of medieval Russian fantasy Ilya has lost the use of his legs, then has them unexpectedly restored by some pilgrims who happen along with a healing potion and an enchanted sword. Ilya suddenly becomes quite powerful and gets into ferocious fights with the evil marauding Tugars who have been plundering his mountain farming village; he also captures a wind demon and kills an arrogant morbidly obese envoy who arrives in the kingdom demanding tribute for the leader of the Tugars, Tsar Kalin [Shukur Burkhanov].
