This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Wahib Fahmy for the 1953 Nathan Juran film Tumbleweed based on the 1953 novel of the same title by Kenneth Perkins, screenplay by Richard Maibaum and Frank S. Nugent and starring Audie Murphy as Jim Harvey. Plot summary: Apache indians led by Chief Aquila [Ralph Moody] attack a small wagon train Jim Harvey is guarding on its way West. The Apaches capture Harvey when he approaches them to negotiate, then kill everyone in the train except two sisters. Harvey later escapes the Apaches and is almost hanged as a deserter when he goes back to town. He is saved from the lynch mob at the last minute by Sheriff Murchoree [Chill Wills] and later makes a break from Murchoree's jail with the help of his Apache friend Tigre [Eugene Iglesias].
