This is a 27" x 40" US one-sheet poster for a 1980 rerelease of the 1960 John Sturges film The Magnificent Seven written by William Roberts and starring Yul Brynner as Chris Larabee Adams. Plot summary: The farmers in a small Mexican village are tired of being terrorized every year by bandits, so they send a delegation to the USA to recruit some gunmen for defense. The delegation returns with seven gunmen who will prepare the town to defend against an expected assault by 30 bandits.

Plot summary: At the age of 15, Jory joins a horse drive after his father Ethan has been killed by a drunk. He surprises the men who hired him with his competence and self-sufficiency.

Invitation to a Gunfighter (1964) - (Yul Brynner) US one-sheet

This is a 27" x 41" US one-sheet poster for the 1964 Richard Wilson film Invitation to a Gunfighter based on a story by Hal Goodman and Larry Klein, screenplay by Richard and Elizabeth Wilson and starring Yul Brynner as Jules Gaspard d'Estaing. Plot summary: Matt Weaver [George Segal] returns home to Pecos New Mexico after the Civil War and finds his farm has been sold and his fiancee Ruth Adams [Janice Rule] has married someone else. Pecos is now full of Union sympathizers who resent Weaver's service to the Confederacy; a banker named Sam Brewster [Pat Hingle] who was also responsible for the sale of Weaver's farm, brings a gunman named d'Estaing into town to shoot it out with Weaver. D'Estaing's careful assessment of the town's social dynamic plays a key role in his approach to the situation.

Last Train from Gun Hill (1959) - (Kirk Douglas) Danish one-sheet

Pictured is a 24" x 33" Danish one-sheet designed by Stevenov for the 1959 John Sturges film Last Train from Gun Hill based on a story by Les Crutchfield with screenplay by James Poe and starring Kirk Douglas as Marshall Matt Morgan. Plot summary: As marshall of a western town, Matt Morgan suspects his old friend Craig Belden [Anthony Quinn] of murdering his native American wife Catherine [Ziva Rodann], but the real murderer turns out to be Belden's son Rick [Earl Holliman], and Craig Belden will not release his son to the marshall. Morgan takes a train alone to Gun Hill, where Belden rules as a powerful cattle baron. Despite opposition from almost everyone in town, Morgan arrests Rick and holds him at a hotel, vowing to put him on the last train out of Gun Hill at 9:00 that night. Craig Belden's former lover Linda [Carolyn Jones] agrees to speak to Morgan on Belden's behalf, but her allegiances have changed; she sneaks a shotgun into Morgan's room instead to help him outgun Belden.

This is a 39" x 54" Italian two-sheet poster using art by Giuliano Nistri to promote the 1965 Mark Robson film Von Ryan's Express based on a novel by David Westheimer, screenplay by Wendell Mayes and starring Frank Sinatra as Colonel Joseph L. Ryan. Plot summary: A group of American prisoners of war make an escape from the Germans in Italy under the leadership of Colonel Ryan. Most of the soldiers under his command are British and after making errors of judgment he faces challenges winning their support.
