This is a 13" x 27.5" Italian locandina poster for the 1965 Ralph Levy film Do Not Disturb based on the 1962 William Fairchild play Some Other Love, screenplay by Milt Rosen and Richard Breen and starring Doris Day as Janet Harper. Plot summary: Mike Harper [Rod Taylor] and his wife Janet move to London where Mike's company deals in wool textiles and fashions. Janet was already feeling neglected, but after the move Mike's long commute keeps him away from home a lot and Janet feels even more neglected. She fears Mike is having an affair with a coworker.

Hercules Unchained (1959) - (Steve Reeves) Egyptian one-sheet

This is a 27" x 39" Egyptian poster designed by Moaty for a 1989 rerelease of the 1959 Pietro Francisci film Hercules Unchained AKA Ercole e la regina di Lidia based on a story by Pietro Francisci based on the Sophocles play Aedipus at Colonus, the Aeschylus play The Seven against Thebes, screenplay by Ennio De Concini and Pietro Francisci and starring Steve Reeves as Hercules. Plot summary: Hercules is made an amnesiac because of water from a magic spring he drinks while on his way to Thebes to intervene in a quarrel between two brothers disputing the throne. He then becomes captive of Queen Omphale of Lydia [Sylvia Lopez]. Omphale makes Hercules her love slave, but everyone except Hercules, who has forgotten his own name, knows his days are numbered because Omphale will turn him into a statue when she's done with him. Young Ulysses [Gabriele Antonini] tries to help Hercules recover his memory while Iole [Sylva Koscina], the wife of Hercules, finds herself in mortal danger because Eteocles [Sergio Fantoni] plans to throw her to the wild beasts in his arena for entertainment. After remembering who he is and killing three tigers Hercules is able to rescue his wife; he then helps the army of Thebes repel mercenaries hired by Polynices. The two brothers kill each other when they fight for the throne, after which the high priest Creon [Carlo D'Angelo] is made ruler by popular acclaim.

Hercules Unchained (R1960) - (Steve Reeves) Lebanese one-sheet

This is a 27" x 39" Lebanese poster for a 1960 rerelease of the 1959 Bruno Vailati film Hercules Unchained based on a haphazard composite of stories by Pietro Francisci, Sophocles and Aeschylus with screenplay by Ennio De Concini and Pietro Francisci and starring Steve Reeves as Hercules and Gabriele Antonini as Ulysses. Plot summary: Hercules intervenes in a quarrel between the two brothers Eteocles [Sergio Fantoni] and Polynices [Mimmo Palmara] over who will rule Thebes. During this effort he drinks from a magic spring and is hypnotized by a harem girl as she dances the Dance of Shiva. The bewitched waters of the spring cause him to lose his memory and be captured by the Lydian Queen Omphale [Sylvia Lopez], who is in the habit of turning her male captives into statues after she tires of them. Omphale makes Hercules her love slave, but everyone except Hercules, who has forgotten his own name, knows his days are numbered. Young Ulysses tries to help Hercules recover his memory while Iole [Sylva Koscina], the wife of Hercules, finds herself in mortal danger at the hands of Eteocles, who plans to throw her to the wild beasts in his arena for entertainment. This is a 39" x 54" Italian two-sheet poster using art by Giuliano Nistri to promote the 1965 Mark Robson film Von Ryan's Express based on a novel by David Westheimer, screenplay by Wendell Mayes and starring Frank Sinatra as Colonel Joseph L. Ryan. Plot summary: A group of American prisoners of war make an escape from the Germans in Italy under the leadership of Colonel Ryan. Most of the soldiers under his command are British and after making errors of judgment he faces challenges winning their support.
