This is a 25.5" x 13" Iranian poster designed by Ahang to promote the 1966 105-minute Nosratolah Vahdat black-and-white film One Step to Paradise [yek qadam ta behesht] starring Nosratolah Vahdat based on a screenplay by Nosratolah Vahdat with cinematography by Shokrollah Rafii. The film was produced by the Naqshe Jahan Studio. Plot summary: A woman in despair and without shelter leaves her child by the side of a road. An indigent but kindly man finds the child. The woman returns in remorse to take the child but does not find him. From then on she puts all of her effort into caring for children. Years later the mother finds her child and the boy requires her to marry his father as a condition for accepting her.

Pictured is a 19.5" x 27" Iranian poster designed by Beheshti to promote the 1969 Ismail Riyahi film Heaven Is Not Far Away بهشت دور نیست [behesht dur nist] starring Mohamad Ali Fardin based on a screenplay by Ismail Riyahi with cinematography by Shokrollah Rafii. The film was produced by Sina Film.

This is another poster the same size with a different design by Alizadeh made to promote the same film.

Plot summary: A child who had lost its mother always asked its young uncle for its mother; the uncle lied and told the child its mother had gone to heaven but would be returning some day. One day in a telephone conversation with a dancer the child thought it had found its mother. Telephone conversations and meetings deepened this relationship every day. Love also gradually grew between the dancer and the child's young uncle, to the point where the dancer quit her job. The owner of the cabaret where she had worked tried to bring her back but the young man prevented this and married her.
