This is a 13" x 26" Italian locandina poster for the 1986 David Lynch film Blue Velvet written and directed by David Lynch and starring Isabella Rossellini as Dorothy Vallens. Plot summary: Jeffrey Beaumont [Kyle MacLachlan] is a college student returning to his quiet home in Lumberton North Carolina to see his hospitalized father, who has almost died from a stroke. While crossing a field one day on his way home he finds a severed ear, an important element in an ongoing murder and sexual abuse case. His police inquiry leads to a connection with future girlfriend Sandy, [Laura Dern] then gets him involved in a series of mysterious and violent events. The film quickly achieved cult status and is now considered one of the greatest American movies.
